Spiritual Awareness: Writing Your Life Story

“Leave no "full stop" in between the sentences that make up your life story. If anything, let "commas" show that when you were brought down by challenges, you rose up with passion and moved on again!
― Israelmore Ayivor, The Great Hand Book of Quotes

Who of us has not sat down with someone who has lived a great life and was in awe of the things they experienced, overcome and accomplished? Didn’t you walk away feeling moved? Did it seem like they went through things and at some point realized they were on a path that led them to something amazing?

Most people look out at other people’s life story; thinking only special people have great stories to tell. No! Every single one of us has an amazing story inside of us that needs to be told. We all have the power to create the story we want too!

The moment you come to the understanding that your life is a story you are writing, you gain control of it. You begin the see the storyline from its beginning and at some point become an expert at creating the rest of the tale. You can fill that story up with all your dreams if you learn your lessons and pay attention to the guidance that comes your way.

Part of the direction I believe I am headed is to help others write the rest of the story the way they want it to be told. Some people I have found really want to have a really good tale to tell. They want it all, the joy, peace, love and happiness that is available to all of us.

Within this story you are writing are dramatic moments. Wouldn’t it be great if you could face those moments and overcome them with flying colors? I believe you can.

From my personal experience, every time I was faced with a challenge and jumped in to tackle it, I came through it stronger and better. I gained reinforcement for my spirit, which only helped me to face the next challenge. I became more aware, more alert and open to life. Even though life is not always perfect because we can’t control external influences, it’s the inner spirit that soars.

Every circumstance is an opportunity to learn something new and beautiful about whom you are. We get so ensconced in wanting the outside stimuli to change to make us feel better, when in truth all lessons are about you.

When writing your life story, if you can look at yourself, the main character, remember that others are reading your book. Depending on how you write it you can be an inspiration to others who are walking the same path. People want to know how you faced your fears, how you handled loss, how you loved and how you survived the things that should have broken you. They want to know how you wake up each day with a true zeal for life and roll in and out of your lessons with ease.

A good story inspires, it lights up the human spirit. It helps others to stay the course and not give up. When the reader is finished they should be left with a feeling that says:
I WANT TO FEEL THAT!

That is the essence of a good life story where you are your own hero and you help people along the way.

Think about your legacy, great or small and your power to create a change in the world by writing your life story in a way that will leave all those reading it in awe!

Live the Life.
