Spiritual Awareness: The Force Called Love

“Love is not the opposite of power. Love IS power. Love is the strongest power there is.”
― Vironika Tugaleva, The Love Mindset
I have been sitting on this train of thought for a while, not quite sure how to actually write a post on this topic. Over the past few years I have been experiencing something quite interesting. Via mediation and a few spiritual experiences I have found a new relationship with love. What I came out with, somewhat rocked my world a bit. I set out to do some research to see if this thought I was getting from meditation had been mentioned anywhere before.

I found a few interesting articles that actually supported some of what I had experienced. But the collective thought I have not seen expressed anywhere, at least not in this manner. So you have to understand that I was hesitant to share this perspective of love.

However before I share this allow me to briefly share with you the ways I came to this interesting point of view.

When I was first learning how to …

Spiritual Awareness: The Path To The Ultimate Soulmate

“Before you find your soul mate, you must first discover your soul.”
― Charles F. Glassman
Brain Drain: The Breakthrough That Will Change Your Life

It’s with joyful anticipation that I look forward to the type of close intimate relationship that I have been slowly working towards for most of my adult life. This relationship is a spiritual union where two people who have individually done their inner soul work can come together and collaborate in love, creativity and inspiration.

In essence, that is what a Vibrational Match or The Ultimate Soulmate relationship is made of, and it is for what we deeply yearn. What we are basically looking for is that person who vibrates a specific energy that is similar to ours. When properly matched there is a fusion of compatibility and synergy. Despite the fact that we may still have to deal with the physical challenges in life, as a united force there is recognition that this is the person your soul does not want to live without.

At times to have…

Spiritual Awareness: A Passion For Pinterest-Part II

Purpose is the reason you journey.
Passion is the fire that lights your way.

This is part two of Vivadivine guest writer Michelle. She continues to share with us her passion for Pinterest and how it lights her way on the path! You can read Part I here.
What makes Pinterest so great is that it is a place online where you can literally put all your passions, interests or general information you want to know (in the form of pins), all in one place. So instead of bookmarking all of my favorite websites on my computer, (thus creating a never-ending list of random websites), you can pin an image from that website to any of your boards and now you have one place to go to see all of your favorite things. Genius!
Once I learned how to use Pinterest, I was off and running and what started off as a mild curiosity with only three boards and a few pins on each of them, has now become a passion with over 43 boards and 14,242 pins. You read that right! Over 14,000 pins and growing every da…

Spiritual Awareness: The Sweetness of Solitude

“The more powerful and original a mind, the more it will incline towards the
Religion of Solitude.”
― Aldous Huxley
I cherish my solitude and hold it in high regard. Some people may find that hard to believe because I love people a great deal and I consider myself to be quite the social butterfly. But I can be a bit of a loner. On the other end of that spectrum I hold a deep reverence for the time I spend with myself.

I am not talking about sitting at home watching television by myself or curled up in bed reading a book, which I love to do. I am referring to those moments where I fall off the grid of life and disappear. I turn of the phone, I have no laptop, or anything to distract myself. I am talking about those moments where I give my full attention to Me, Myself and I.

I fully believe that the time I have spent alone has helped me to awaken faster. That’s because I was so alone with myself I could hear my soul speak more clearly. I could analyze the things I was going through an…

Spiritual Awareness: A Passion For Pinterest-Part I

Purpose is the reason you journey.
Passion is the fire that lights your way.

Guest blogger Michelle shares with us her passion for Pinterest and how it lights her way on the path!
When I was asked to write a piece for Vivadivine about my biggest passion in life, I admit I was happy to do it but was hard pressed to pin point one particular thing I was really passionate about. I have found that throughout my life, I have become very passionate about many things, like most people. But I was having a difficult time deciding what to write, so I asked myself, “What do I write about, animals? Which has been a loving endeavor since I was a small child? Or dance, which although I haven’t performed in many years, I would like to restart again?”

The truth is I really can’t begin telling anything of my passionate engagements until I actually start with the one place I keep all my passions to begin with, Pinterest. I say Pinterest because quite frankly, it truly is the one place that ha…

Spiritual Awareness: Allowing Your Dreams To Come True

“Hold fast to dreams.
For if dreams die life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.”
― Langston Hughes

Today as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday, I was moved to read his iconic “I Have A Dream” speech that has been a touchstone for so many people.

As I read the speech I realized that Dr. King spoke some powerful words to the Universe. He thought about the dream, and then he spoke about it and believed in it. In many ways, elements of the dream have come true. But the dream in its entirety has yet to be fulfilled. Why? It is because we have all stopped collectively dreaming the promise of those words. For that vision to take on fulfillment, we have to individually see it as real and keep breathing life into its existence. Dreams are one of our most power aspects of our spirit. Our dreams are powerful thoughts with a force beyond our imagination. Dreams are meant to manifest and become a reality. Our dreams are our creative aspect of our souls.

I know this because I…

Spiritual Awareness: When The Student Is Ready The Teacher Appears (Video)

Spiritual leaders on any consciousness level can help you shift to the next!
It's all good because it's about growth!
Enjoy your quantum leaps!

Spiritual Awareness: The Quantum Leaps- Part One

“Self-education is, I firmly believe, the only kind of education there is.”― Isaac Asimov

It’s a fascinating never-ending learning experience once your consciousness about life and yourself begins to expand. The awakening process is like driving down the Spiritual Information Super Highway.

After the initial breathtaking moment of realizing who you really are and the unlimited possibilities that lay before you, you will settle into a series of moments where your understanding about life becomes clearer. The world takes on a new perspective as you see things for what they really are.

These are moments that I like to jokingly call quantum leaps. You may get entirely new ideas popping into your head. Or it may not necessarily be new information, but just that your understanding about something deepens. That is why if you really want to have the full experience of the journey, there has to be some sort of dedication to whole process. Being aware of the different ways information comes to y…

Spiritual Awareness: Spiritual Guides

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love.
It will not lead you astray.”
― Rumi
In the spiritual community it is common knowledge that we all have spirit guides. Just like angels, there are spiritual entities that interact with us to protect, lead and guide us throughout our lives. Some are benevolent and others do not have our best interest at heart. Nevertheless they are there, around us at all times.
For most people this would seem like an out of the world possibility. But for those of us who are aware that there is a Universal Consciousness (Source, God etc.) that we are all a part of, this is not new to us. If I had not personally interacted and FELT these guides and their power then I would not believe that they existed. If I had not seen things happen out of complete nothingness then I’d be a skeptic. It is truly a case of believing is seeing and not the other way around.

But since the concept of invisible spiritual guides is difficult for many…

Spiritual Awareness: Spiritual Refinement

Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment.
-Morihei Ueshiba

This is a post of caution. It’s a gentle warning to all of you with generous, kind and willing hearts. This post is for those of you who open up your lives to share with others the experience that is unfolding in your lives. This message is for the lovers and the givers. If you are even remotely thinking of wanting to step out and make a difference in just one person’s life, there is something you should know.
Once you develop a sincere desire to help others, to touch another soul, and you express it, you call unto yourself an enormous trans-formative energy. This transformation that you will go through is to align you with the universal force that promotes change. Once you start down this road everything will be maneuvered in your life so that your purpose is completely harmo…

Spiritual Awareness: Set Your Intent (Video)

“Intention is one of the most powerful forces there is. What you mean when you do a thing will always determine the outcome. The law creates the world.” ― Brenna Yovanoff

It’s a New Year! It's the perfect time for resolutions and upgrades to the way we think about the lives we want to live.

Behind each resolution is an intent that fuels our goals. One definition of intent is the state of a person's mind that directs his or her actions toward a specific object.

What is your state of mind that fuels your goals? Whatever it is, if it’s a positive force such as love that will create a certain momentum, a drive that will make the goal become more of a reality.

Choose your intent carefully. It’s like fuel to fire!

Live the Life!

The Value Of Popular Spiritual Teachers

“The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can't be organized or regulated. It isn't true that everyone should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.”
-Ram Dass
For each level of consciousness on which a person exists there are guides to assist one along the way. However an important key is the ability of a person’s spirit to acknowledge where they are and to pay attention to the signs and guides that show up.

The lowest levels of consciousness are fear, shame and guilt. This is a place where the despondent live and acts such as suicide are played out. A guide may show up to prod a person past this stage or the person may sense an under-lying desire to look past the pain, to push through it in order to survive.

I was unaware I had lived in the lower places of awareness until I started to awaken. This place of pain was exacerbated by my controlling belief system. But my spirit was strong and willing and wanted to survive despite thoughts of suicide. My guides …

Spiritual Awakening: Navigating Through The Stages

“Our duty is wakefulness, the fundamental condition of life itself. The unseen, the unheard, the untouchable is what weaves the fabric of our see-able universe together.”  ― Robin Craig Clark, The Garden
There are certain stages to a spiritual awakening that most people experience. It varies with each individual how they may begin the process of self-awareness. However at some point as we process through the stages, enlightenment or being close to that experience is achievable.
On the path one of the first events to re-awakening or awakening can be seen as a type of catalyst. An event such as a sudden death of a loved one, meeting one’s soulmate, or loss of a job, can jolt a person out of spiritual slumber. A near death experience or a coincidental accident such as what happened to me in 2010 served as a definite jolt to my soul.

After that event things progressed somewhat quickly for me. The accident forced me to look at life differently. It reshaped my perspective and revealed the real…
