True Love Heals.

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
― Rumi

Love, at its purest at the Source does not hurt. The pain we feel in the lessons of loving others happens when we bump up against the barriers to love. These are usually fear-based issues such as the fear of being abandoned, control, manipulation, attachment, need, desire, feelings of unworthiness, insecurity, etc.

The more barriers we have within ourselves the more pain we experience. As we hold more barriers within ourelves, we will attract relationship experiences to bring these to our attention to help clear the barriers and the pain. This is what makes love feel like a devastating process.

If we are feeling pain when dealing with others and love is on the table, we could consider taking a moment to stop, analyze what that feeling is and seek the root of it. Once we come into that knowledge, we can then take the steps to break down that barrier and heal that wound within our self.

The more we practice self-love, which is holding the self in dignity, protection and honor, the more we will experience Source Love and thereby feel less pain in the process of loving others. Less barriers equate to less pain.

As our consciousness begins to expand, we come to realize that Love is what we are here to learn, remember and master. We are here to transcend to Higher Love. We learn this best through Relationships. As we heal our inner self, and re-attach deeply and completely to the Source of Life, the less painful and more pure our love experiences will be.

Live in Awareness!
